Feast of the Redeemer

The Festa of Redentore is absolutely one of the most heartfelt festivities in Venice. Every year, on the Feast of the Redentore, a 330-metre-long votive bridge of boats is built connecting the Redentore Church to the Zattere. Besides having a religious aspect, it is remembered for the fantastic fireworks display that takes place at 23.30 in St Mark's Basin.
